Our client wanted a luxury modern kitchen and dining space that would flow easily with the rest of the ground floor reception rooms.
Long clean lines, bold profiles and large scales all play an important role in this bespoke contemporary kitchen.
We designed a long run of multi-functional cabinetry along the back wall to act as a bridge between the kitchen and dining spaces and create lots of valuable storage space. Sliding and folding doors to the other family living spaces are left uncrowded and uncluttered by cabinetry, improving the flow.
The bold profile of the run of cabinetry accentuates the length of the room and the lack of wall cabinets lets the maximum light diffuse through the space.
A carefully curated materials palette creates a refined modern feel throughout.
Stone Italiana added their tactile Rocface finish to the dark grey quartz specified for the drawer fronts on the kitchen island and cabinetry run. Small grey mirrored flecks in the quartz match the sleek brushed steel controls of the integrated Gaggenau cooktop.
Dramatic polished Black Galaxy granite on the central kitchen island draws the eye and gently underlines the subtle luxury of this contemporary kitchen space. A traditional tandoori oven is carefully integrated into the worktop of the contemporary kitchen island.
