For this project, our team worked closely with the client to create a sense of polished elegance warmed up by a mellow colour palette, art pieces, and beautiful design objects.
The centerpiece of the space is a sleek cream-white worktop in Lapitec, the world’s only certified sintered stone, a man-made material which mimics the processes that form natural stones over thousands of years.
We chose a 40mm-thick slab seamless at the edges and cut at 45 degree to enhance the sculptural volume of the worktop. Its cream-white hue, a veritable classic, exudes a distinctive softness and warmth that envelops, fascinates, and warms the touch and feel of the space.
To add further strength and vitality to the worktop surface, we chose a Vesuvio finish, particularly well-suited to non-slip flooring and any other application requiring unique and original performance. Vesuvio is applied right after the slab is shaped and baked to reduce slipperiness.
For the front doors of the tall units, we opted for 12mm honeycomb double-panelled aluminium lacquered in a Liquid Metal finish with a slightly ‘aged’ effect. Developed to accurately and masterfully mimic the appearance of aged burnished brass and brushed copper, this distinctive paint finish truly managed to grace the door surfaces with a subtle brightness, a delicate texture, and an overall chiaroscuro effect.
